At current Internet scale, systems with single points of failure or scalability bottleneck won't fly, and we currently build sensors that can handle 80-160 Gigabits of processing per server, so efficiency is important!
We're currently looking for developers with a passion for network data analytics, experience in distributed systems, and a good familiarity with how computers actually work - either an applied hobbyist or embedded systems background.
If you prefer Windows to play around that's fine but if you don't have a home lab and some fun side projects then Accelerated's dev team may not be a great fit for you.
A passion for and experience with network data is best - ideally we like frustrated network operators who say "wow, if I only had tcp retransmit data per origin AS, I could..." but we're happy to teach some of that with applied tasks on the monitoring side of some of our client network engagements.
